That’s a regular season wrap on an exciting and special regular season

With that Kentucky will finish 9-3 but optimistically could go 10-2. There is nothing at all wrong with a 9-3 season either because you have solidified your mark that UK football is not a door mat but a threat and contender in the powerful Southeastern Conference.

Nine wins would put Mark Stoops at 68 wins and should his team win 10 games make that 69. Add another bowl victory and 70 wins.

Incredible.

Please check your emotions, aspirations, and reality at the entrance gate. Playing in a New Year’s Six Bowl and playing in a bowl for the seventh straight year is extraordinary.

Remember not long ago the excitement to just get bowl eligible with six wins left BBN elated. Heck, even five was big in many people’s minds, and finding two possible wins on the SEC schedule was challenging. Stoops took over a 2-10 team and has built something incredible and something all Kentucky football fans can be proud of just like he said he would do.

Sit back and enjoy the ride I think you’re going to have lots of fun.
