Kentucky football: Prediction for every game on Wildcats 2022 schedule
By Eric Thorne
Kentucky drops Louisville in finale while celebrating another historic season
Venue: Kroger Field
City: Lexington, KY
Overall Matchup Record: Kentucky leads the series 18-15
Last meeting: Kentucky won 52-21 last year
If Kentucky doesn’t beat Georgia and win the SEC East are Wildcat fans really going to sulk? Is finishing 10-2 or even 9-3 that horrible?
No.
They need to go out and put another beat down on Louisville who probably will be searching for a new coach if the season implodes and Scott Satterfield is run out of town. His seat is already pretty hot.
The gap here has widened significantly with Kentucky pounding the school down I-64 by a combined 153-44 points in the last three meetings. There is no sense in packing up the Governor’s Cup which will remain in Lexington for a fourth straight year and fifth out of six.
While this game has been moved to rivalry weekend at the end of the season there hasn’t been much rivalry in some time.
Kentucky puts an exclamation mark on an impressive season 45-24.
