Another game another Oscar Tshiebwe double-double who would have thought

It just becomes routine game after game with Oscar Tshiebwe recording a double-double. But when he did it again against the Rebels it just become more mind-boggling how for 12 straight games he could do this through the rough and rigorous SEC schedule.

We have come to expect the giant teddy bear from the Democratic Republic of the Congo to get his points and claim his rebounds.

There were several accomplishments but to start he has now tied Julius Randle for second in single-season Kentucky history with 24 double-doubles. The only one ahead of them is Dan Issel with 26.

Just in case you were wondering and I know you are – the record holder for most double-doubles in one season is held by David Robinson with 31.  If UK makes the SEC Championship and the NCAA title game that would be a total of 10 more games.

His latest victim was Ole Miss where finished 9 of 12 from the field for 18 points,  and snatched up 13 rebounds in 28 minutes.

When he scored his 10th point it was also his 500th of the season.

How about the 55 steals on the year now and keep a close eye as he is just 11 away from top-10 in single-season Kentucky history.

Just how many more records can he etch his name in the record book. Can you imagine if he comes back for another season?
