Kentucky basketball road games have been bumpy and rough rides this season

Away from the friendly confines of Rupp Arena this season Kentucky has played five true road games coming away with a 2-3 record. Those wins were less than impressive coming against Vanderbilt and a come from behind struggle win at Texas A&M on Wednesday.

They were manhandled at Notre Dame, LSU, and at Auburn.

In neutral sites, they were beaten soundly in the season opener against Duke and blew out North Carolina in Las Vegas.

Kentucky’s last win over a top-10 ranked team on the road was West Virginia on Jan. 27, 2018. The Cat’s last win over a top-five team on the road was at Louisville on Dec. 27, 2014.

That will get Big Blue Nation chirping about schedules and such. But that is for another story.

They are at No. 7 Kansas next week, the following Saturday at Alabama, at No. 24 Tennessee, and at Florida. All places that will prove very difficult places to play.
