Sahvir Wheeler keeps the offense ticking but still need more fluidity

Watching Sahvir Wheeler play was much more exciting than what we had to endure last season with Devin Askew attempting to run the point and the show.

And we are thankful to have the jitter-bug, high-octane guard in blue and white instead of Georgia red and black.

He looks to be much more comfortable with each passing game and Tuesday was case in point with 12 points on 6 of 11 shot attempts with none from 3-point range. He added a rebound, a steal, turned it over just one time but found the open man to dish out eight more assists.

Calipari spoke about his after the game and how its getting better

"“He is not losing his mind. Believe me, after the game he looked at me and said, I had one turnover, so he knows it’s important to me. Who is it going to be important to? Him.”"

He now has the most assists by any UK player in their first 3 career games doling out 30 so far. That supersedes the previous mark of 22 by John Wall.
