Daimion Collins soars with quiet confidence and superhuman feats

His teammates know it but Kentucky basketball fans finally witnessed what Daimion Collins is capable of.

He can fly. He can soar. He can slam. He has fun. Hell, maybe he can leap tall buildings in a single bound too.

He can stand and touch the top of the backboard with his 7-foot-5 wingspan and 8-foot-7 standing reach. He can leap like a kangaroo when he hits that 42-inch vertical leap oooh and aaaaws are heard.

Just watch this highlight.

While the mild-mannered freshman from Atlanta, Texas who loves to ride horses and eat soul food is chill off the court his play on the hardwood is going to be needed for this team to keep gaining speed.

He was asked after the game about getting more playing time.

"“It feels really good. I just went out there and played hard, and did what coach told me to do, and, you know, it just turned out well. I just trust the process and keep working hard, and everything fell in place. I just went out there and played hard, Coach Cal (Calipari) just told me to trust him, and when I get my chance be ready and that’s what I did I was ready when I had my chance.”"

It is going to be hard for John Calipari to keep this dude off the court this season.
