Will Levis need to prove he’s an SEC superstar and not average joe QB

Just as Rodriguez needs his head screwed on straight and focused, quarterback Will Levis has a lot to prove not only to himself, the team, and all of Big Blue Nation.

Is he just an average quarterback, or a high-caliber SEC signal-caller?

Fans were clamoring after the 31-17 loss that Levis was a fraud of a quarterback and nothing special by throwing more interceptions while trying to force balls into situations where he either needed to throw it away or tuck it and run.

We don’t want him getting injured but his big body can run it when needed and he has an eye for the first down yardstick. At Penn State, his 473 career rushing yards rank 10th all-time by a Penn State quarterback.

This year he has 53 carries for 252 yards gained is pretty good. Of course, he has lost 68 mostly due to sacks.

But the long ball miscues and every short route that as of late have looked like a state of confusion and chaos. Stoops was asked if there is any miscommunication going on.

Levis has a very high IQ both on the field and in the classroom. He just needs to use those smarts better.
