The Kentucky defense is top-notch across all 11 positions
In honesty, there is really no way to single out any one player on this Kentucky defense. From the line to the corners to the linebackers to the safeties they are all top-notch Grade-A prime SEC players.
Do their stats always wow us? Nope
Are they flashy and brash? Nope
They simply get the job done. Brad White saw 18 of his defensive players record a tackle. They came so close on a couple of interception opportunities but hey they still dominated.
Jacquez Jones led the team with nine, DeAndre Square (8), Carrington Valentine and Yusuf Corker (7), Jordan Wright (6), and Devonte Robinson added five.

Octavius Oxendine is becoming a beast sacking quarterback Max Johnson twice while Trevin Wallace and Square both had one.
A desperate LSU coach Ed Orgeron gambled time after time and repeatedly the Kentucky defense said no. They could only convert 7 of 15 third downs and just 2 of 5 on fourth down.
