Kentucky football fans rejoice, party, shed tears, and burn some couches

Words can’t adequately capture the emotion Kentucky fans felt as Levis took the final knee stood with his arm stretched wide as if to welcome the fans onto the Kroger Field turf.

Mitch Barnhart I am sure will gladly write the SEC a check for the on-field celebration.

To see the UK Marching Band playing My Old Kentucky Home and fans singing as they climbed over the walls was surreal.

Players didn’t rush for the locker room they stood among the throngs of Big Blue Nation and relish the moment as well for they had earned it.

Looking at the scoreboard that read Kentucky 20, Florida 13 I am sure they had a wave of emotion swell over them.

Offensive Line coach Vince Marrow called into the post-game show afterward and said he couldn’t believe the atmosphere and fans which is why he never left for another coaching job.

"“That was frickin’ crazy in there. I have been in big time games, been to Super Bowls, but I have never seen anything like that before.”"

So for now let’s soak in the win, raise a toast, and hope the students don’t burn too many couches. LSU is next up but Ahhhhhhhh the sweet taste of victory.

Here are some moments to enjoy.
