Let’s pass it over to the tried and true Cat fan for their turn to shake the ball

● As I see it, yes. I’ll admit to shaking my head too many times to count this year, but in most games during the SEC games Kentucky has been right there with a chance to win. I’ll take my chances if they are in contention or playing for an opporunity to win.

● Most likely  Kenpom has had Kentucky as one of the most unlucky teams all year. It’s time for Lady Luck to wander into the Wildcat locker room, sit on the bench for inspiration and reflect wins on the scoreboard. In the SEC the Wildcats have lost 3 games by 3 points, 3 games by a single point and one game by 5 points. Only Alabama twice and Tennessee once since January have really had thier number.

Olivier Sarr was also in the media conference with Brooks and the senior said its  very simple.

"“I don’t think we care about being realistic or anything. We just care about winning games, and we’re going to have to win games. That’s all it is. That’s the only way we have, and that’s the only way we’re thinking. We’re not thinking about–it’s not about a dream or reality or whatever. It is what it is. So, we’re going to go out there game by game and take it one game at a time and then we’ll see.”"

● Outlook good What would the return of Terrence Clarke do for this team. He hasn’t played since before Christmas but Calipari and the freshman didn’t discount him making an in-game appearance. Just his presence would be a tremendous lift and any minutes and production he gives this team would be the cherry on top.
● Yes. I just want to hear Tom Leach say this word over and over and over for four straight games as balls swish through the nets and opponents fall by the wayside.
● Signs point to yes. Statistically, Kentucky fares as well if not better than its opponents.

Points scored – Kentucky 70.3, opponents 70.1

FG percentage – Kentucky .417, opponents .410

FG made – Kentucky 489, opponents 498

3 point attempts made – Kentucky 149, opponents 159

3 point percentage – Kentucky 33.3, opponents 31.3

Ave. number of 3’s – Kentucky 6.2, opponents 6.6

Total rebounds – Kentucky 921, opponents 859

Ave rebounds – Kentucky 38.4, opponents 35.8

Assists – Kentucky 295, opponents 292

Steals – Kentucky 152, opponents 152

Blocks – Kentucky 146, opponents 88

● Yes – definitely. At this point, your record is 0-0 when they tip off in the Music City.  Every game is an elimination game so Kentucky must have the mentality of survive and advance plus beating Mississippi State and Alabama, they will likely face Tennessee, Florida, or LSU. Don’t forget they have knocked off each of those teams once already this year.

It is decidedly so Isaiah Jackson will be the tournament MVP and have the net hanging around his neck. Jackson was just named to the SEC All-Freshman and All-Defensive teams. If he comes to play and has his friends on the court inspired by his play then this team has a shot. He has been on fire of late along with Davion Mintz and if he stays out of foul trouble will be a force while Mintz knocks down threes.
● Without a doubt. To borrow a phrase from Mark Stoops “Why not Kentucky?” Underdogs always say why not, but Stoops has raised the level of his program with the saying. Kentucky basketball doesn’t have to aspire to high reaching goals, but this year why not Kentucky running the SEC slate.
● It is certain WE ARE UK!! The most storied program and winningest team in NCAA history.

Next. Kentucky has tall mountain to scale. dark
