Brandon Boston needs to keep playing this way

Brandon Boston has been struggling mightily much of the season, but in the past two games, the freshman has emerged displaying that hype he came to Kentucky with. The growing pains seem to have subsided and the lightbulb clicked on.

He has played loose, free-flowing, and drawing contact in the lane, something he shied away from early on. When he does this good things happen like baskets, three-point plays, and drawing fouls. It also frees up players on the wings when he draws defenders. He has scored 18 points in the past two games against Georgia and LSU.

This is the spotlight Boston should be shining in and if he does it boosts Kentucky’s chances. He will miss a bunch of shots, but if he can connect on a majority, dish out assists, and rebound Kentucky fans can live with that.

Boston leads the team averaging 12.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.

Look for him to lead the charge and be the floor general.
