Camp Cal now moves into week 2 after the loss so where do we go from here?

Calipari said after the game that Camp Cal will begin week two tomorrow and continue through Thursday where three-a-day sessions are the routine.

There is a lot of positive to build upon yet many holes and concerns to address that nearly had fans writing this team and season off.

Isaiah Jackson must be on the floor for defense. His stat line was less than stellar getting 1 point, 5 rebounds, and 1 block in 16 minutes while committing three fouls.

Mintz started at the point in place of Devin Askew with Clarke rotating in. That didn’t produce much from Askew with less than stellar 3 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 assist. I am not sure this is the answer but maybe during the Camp Cal weeks over the Christmas break, someone will emerge as the floor leader at the point.

Askew, Lance Ware, Jacob Toppin, and Cam’Ron Fletcher combined for five points, seven rebounds, two assists, and zero steals.  There has to be some production from someone.

The Cats now prepare to take on UCLA in Cleveland next Saturday with a 2 pm tipoff. We now wait to see the hopeful progression.
