#2- Leah Edmond

The University of Kentucky has become a national power in volleyball thanks to the solid foundation Craig Skinner has built.

The keystone of this foundation has been Outside Hitter Leah Edmond. Edmond, the Lexington native, has rewritten the record books at Kentucky, owning the school record for kills. She has been named to multiple All-American teams by the American Volleyball Coaches Association in her career, as well as making numerous All-SEC and All-Region teams.

Edmond is also the back-to-back Conference Player of the Year.

Her thunderous strikes rocked Memorial Coliseum leading the Volleyball Cats to a record of 25-7 on the season and leading the team to the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Volleyball Tournament.
