Anthony Davis finally has a new home with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he’ll play alongside LeBron James. Why is this a perfect fit?

Last time we heard from competitive Anthony Davis, he unleashed a historic scorched Earth campaign in the last half of the 2018 NBA season, gripping the wheel on the then-destitute New Orleans Pelicans’ season and swerving them away from a complete debacle following All-NBA center DeMarcus Cousins’ brutal Achilles injury. In almost an instant and without a second star, Davis became the best player in the NBA for half a season.
