Anthony Davis finally has a new home with the Los Angeles Lakers, where he’ll play alongside LeBron James. Why is this a perfect fit?

Last time we heard from competitive Anthony Davis, he unleashed a historic scorched Earth campaign in the last half of the 2018 NBA season, gripping the wheel on the then-destitute New Orleans Pelicans’ season and swerving them away from a complete debacle following All-NBA center DeMarcus Cousins’ brutal Achilles injury. In almost an instant and without a second star, Davis became the best player in the NBA for half a season. A year and some distasteful turmoil between New Orleans and Davis, here we sit, with Anthony Davis beginning a fresh start with the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James following a blockbuster trade.

Playing with LeBron is not an easy task. In fact, the consensus appears that, actually, playing with the second greatest player of all time is quite a burden. Either way, I’m confident Anthony will thrive and prove to be a match made in Springfield, Massachusetts next to LeBron. Here’s why:
