2013. Larry Warford. Scouting Report. 2. player. 50. Pick Analysis. G

Larry Warford was a road-grader for the UK football team. Warford could explode off the line and dominate opposing defensive linemen. Warford started 37 consecutive games for the Wildcats from 2010-2012. He was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the third-round of the 2013 NFL Draft.

Warford finds himself on this list because he has one of the most thankless jobs in the NFL. As an offensive guard, you only get noticed if you screw up. The skill players get all the publicity, the defensive linemen get adulation when they make a key sack, and even the offensive tackles are the stars of the O-Line.

Warford has been a warrior during his time in the NFL. He started as a rookie, and did not allow a sack the entire season. During his career, Warford has started 57 games through his first 5 seasons. Just last year, Warford signed as a free agent with the New Orleans Saints for $34 million. Warford was named to his first Pro Bowl in 2017.
