Here we go BBN, my 5 rushed reactions from Kentucky basketball’s 2nd NCAA Tournament game. College basketball expected this to be Kentucky vs Arizona, but Buffalo had different plans.

Here we go Big Blue Nation, my 5 rushed reactions from Kentucky basketball’s 2nd NCAA Tournament game. College basketball expected this to be Kentucky vs Arizona, but Buffalo had different plans. Spoiling Buffalo’s “Cindarella story”, Kentucky looked very impressive in their 20-point victory, advancing to the Sweet Sixteen. Here are my 5 rushed reactions from this game:

1. Hamidou Diallo, good-bye

For Hamidou Diallo, I just simply haven’t seen anything from him this year that warranted him going to the NBA after one year of college basketball. I thought his decision-making was terrible, his scoring too sparse, and too often he lost interest in the game. Here’s what I can tell you now though, he can be an absolute beast!

Diallo had the best game of his UK career against Buffalo. He was an absolute stud in basically every aspect of the game. Hami knocked down a three-point shot, he was able to drive to the basket and score at the rim. He was also great in transition.

Diallo was a stud on the defensive end as well. He grabbed some very impressive defensive rebounds, high above the rim. He was also able to get out and guard on the perimeter too. In all aspects of the game, Diallo was at his best.
