Who is Tyler Herro and what can he bring to the Kentucky basketball team

Jordan Brand Classic recently made Tyler Herro part of the roster. Who is Tyler Herro and what does he bring to the Kentucky basketball program in 2018-19?
Kentucky basketball fans will soon get used to hearing the name Tyler Herro. Herro is ranked No. 32 nationally by 247Sports.com and No. 35 by Rivals. He is a 6’5″ shooting guard who can really fill it up from deep. That is something that this year’s Kentucky basketball team is missing desperately.
Herro, along with fellow UK commits Keldon Johnson and Immanual Quickley will form quite the triple threat for the Cats next season. Quickley is not as fast as John Wall or De’Aaron Fox, but he has a high basketball and will provide the Wildcats with a perimeter defensive stopper. Johnson is a wing scorer, similar to that of Kevin Knox, and will likely fill the void left by Knox when he inevitably heads to the NBA at the conclusion of this season.
But back to Herro. What does the young man from Milwaukee, Wisconsin bring to the table for next year’s team. He’s a sure-fire scorer. Don’t let the 4-star rating fool you, Herro will get plenty of playing time on next year’s team. Think of a player in the mold of Jamal Murray or Malik Monk. Herro has the ability to knock down the three-point shot, but he also has a great mid-range.
Don’t believe me? Check out the video below provided by https://itsovertime.com. It highlights all of Herro’s dymanic plays from his senior year at Whitnall High School.
Herro finished up his high school career this past week. Look out Big Blue Nation, his next stop is Lexington, Kentucky and the Kentucky basketball program. I for one am excited to see what a backcourt of Herro, Quickley, Quade Green, Jermal Baker and hopefully Shai Gilgeous-Alexander looks like next season.
