The Kentucky basketball team defeated Arkansas 87-72 on Tuesday night.

After losing 4 consecutive SEC games, the Kentucky basketball team now has back-to-back wins! Tonight was a tough matchup for UK, but the Cats went down to Bud Walton Arena and grabbed a 87-72 victory. Here are my 5 rushed reactions from tonight’s game.

1. Razorback Seniors Shutout

Arkansas’ senior class never beat the Kentucky basketball team in their 4 years of SEC play. It’s a staggering statistic, isn’t it? This is especially impressive because of the “down year” that Kentucky has seemingly had this season.

I’m sure it stings for the Arkansas seniors, and I don’t intend whatsoever to insult the Razorback seniors. But it’s impressive that for 4 years, Kentucky shutout Arkansas, which includes 2 games at Bud Walton Arena.

For me, all wins against Arkansas are sweet. I grew up watching Kentucky struggle against Corliss Williamson and Scottie Thurman. So for the Cats to now go 4 straight seasons without losing to Arkansas – I LOVE IT!
