5. UK’s closing lineup 

It seemed to me that Calipari put the game in the hands of five players that he had the most confidence in. Calipari looked to Green, Gabriel, Washington, Vanderbilt and Gilgeous-Alexander to win the game. These five players were given the chance for the final offensive and defensive possession. This might not be indicative of any future plans at all for Calipari, but it also could be.

Which five players does Cal trust the most? In nearly every game this year, Calipari has decided to ‘go small’ at the end of close games. Moving forward, it’ll be interesting to see if Diallo is on the floor at the end, or Knox or Quade Green.
