4. UK’s Rotation Goes 9 Deep

Kentucky’s starters included Knox, Diallo, PJ Washington, Nick Richards and Gilgeous-Alexander. Coming off the bench, each playing significant minutes, were Sacha Killeya-Jones, Wenyen Gabriel, Jarred Vanderbilt and Green. The advantage of having a 9-man rotation is that it allows for depth, which is complementary to fast-pace play.

We should be able to expect Kentucky to play faster with the ball, grabbing defensive rebounds and looking to score quickly. BBN should also expect Calipari to turn up the defensive pressure, especially in the full-court. With the return of Green and Vanderbilt, it gives the UK coaching staff reason to speed up the game and increase the defensive pressure.
