3. Out of bounds plays

This is most certainly a serious concern for John Calipari’s coaching staff. I don’t put this on the players at all, not one bit. Calipari and the rest of the staff need to do a better job scouting their opponents. Florida scored a minimum of 8 points on out of bounds plays. In a 2 point loss, those 8 points are obviously a very big deal.

Then look at the last two out of bounds plays of the game for the Kentucky basketball team. This was very poor execution by the Kentucky coaching staff. Why would Kentucky not have a “go to” play to run in a situation like this? There absolutely must be one or two plays that Calipari can call out in order to try to get a quick bucket to end the game. That was very poor execution by the Cats.
