This year’s Kentucky basketball team has an abundance of talented players. But, are any of these guys a slam dunk for the 2018 NBA Draft Lottery?

This year’s Kentucky basketball team is a bit of an enigma. They’re an extremely young group of talented players. Yeah, yeah, I know, so is every Kentucky team that John Calipari has coached. However, this year’s team is different. There’s no one player that jumps out and screams first-round NBA talent. Given what you’ve seen thus far, if you were an NBA general manager, would you take any player from this year’s Kentucky team with your first pick in the draft?

With 18 games to go off of, we’re about at the midway point of the season. A lot can happen between now and the end of the college basketball season. So, just for fun, let’s evaluate the members of the Kentucky basketball team most likely to make the jump to the NBA. The evaluation is based on whether or not the player is deserving of a lottery selection (first 14 picks) in the 2018 NBA Draft based on their current performance.
