Kentucky basketball: 3 keys vs Vandy, TV/ radio, prediction

2. Defending the perimeter
Vanderbilt jacks up a lot of three-point shots. In fact, the Commodores lead the SEC in three-point attempts with 111. Vandy also knocks down those shots at a fair clip of 37% in conference play. Jeff Roberson and Saben Lee each take more than 4 shots from beyond the arc per game. Roberson and Riley LeChance are hitting better than 44% from downtown.
Kentucky used a fair amount of 2-3 zone versus Texas A&M and I would expect much of the same against the Commodores. However, if Vandy gets rolling from distance, Calipari may quickly switch to a man-to-man defense.
