3. Wenyen off the bench

Wenyen Gabriel just might be the front-runner for SEC Sixth Man of the Year. He comes off the bench and scored 9 points in the first half. Wenyen’s presence on the court continues to provide a calming and stabilizing presence for the Kentucky Wildcats. Wenyen won’t be an All-American or lottery pick, but he’s one of the most valuable players on this Kentucky team. Unfortunately he fouled out with more than 12 minutes left. I sure hope someone in the post-game press conference asks Calipari about that decision.
