Former UK stars are tops in NBA All-Star vote

Karl-Anthony Towns
Statistically, Karl-Anthony Towns is not putting up the numbers he did last season. Towns was a snub from the 2016-17 All-Star team, mainly in part to the fact that the Timberwolves were struggling.
Now with Jimmy Butler, Jeff Teague and Jamal Crawford, the T-Wolves are right in the thick of the Western Conference playoff chase. Towns is having a solid season with 20.1 points and 11.5 rebounds per game. However, the third-year player from Kentucky needs some more support from the fans. Towns is currently 8th in the fan vote among frontcourt players in the West.
Devin Booker
One of the best perimeter shooters that Cal has recruited to UK, Devin Booker is scorching the nets in the Valley of the Sun. The Suns’ shooting guard is knocking down 38.5 of his shots from beyond the arc and averaging 25 points per game.
Booker missed 10 games this year and they may be affecting his All-Star votes. Booker’s 91,562 votes are good enough for 9th among Western Conference guards.
