It was especially great to see the Kentucky Wildcats get such a dominant win considering how much Kevin Knox’s struggled. Knox didn’t get off to a good start and never really turned it around. The Cats have relied on Knox to score from the perimeter and to attack the basket, and he’s made several difficult shots this year. But he simply did not have a good game today, especially in terms of scoring. But Kentucky still put up 90 points, on Louisville. I enjoyed seeing his teammates pick up the slack in his ‘absence’. Knox is a special player, and this game was an outlier, but this should help raise team morale that the Cats can still put up 90 points when one of their top scorers struggles.
