1. Benny Snell vs Justin Jackson

If you’re a fan of hard-nosed, traditional football with a focus on the running backs, grab a seat and your popcorn. Benny Snell and Justin Jackson are two stud halfbacks that will see a lot of carries Friday afternoon in Nashville. Snell was 2 yards shy of Auburn’s Kerryon Johnson for the SEC’s leading running back. Snell finished the regular season with 1,318 yards and an SEC leading 18 touchdowns. The senior running back for Northwestern, Justin Jackson, finished the regular season strong after some struggles early. Over the last 4 games, Jackson has 510 yards with an average of 4.8 yards per rush. Neither is a great receiver out of the backfield, so don’t look for screens, wheel routes or shovel passes to the running backs when Snell or Jackson are in the game.
