1. 2004 – UK 60 UofL 58

After losing two straight seasons to their arch rival, Tubby Smith and the Kentucky Wildcats needed a victory over the Cardinals in the worst way. This one ended in drama and controversy. A seesaw battle to the end saw Louisville take a one-point late after a Larry O’Bannon free throw put UofL up 58-57. On UK’s next possession Patrick Sparks would get away with a blatant traveling violation before calling a timeout. When the game resumed, Sparks received a pass in the corner and was fouled while taking a three-point shot with .6 seconds remaining. Sparks would knock down all three free throws and the Cats would go on to win 60-58.
