5. Offensive identity vs SEC

How will the Cats look to play offensively vs SEC opponents? Calipari likes to start the game by getting the ball to Richards on the block. But when the Cats are scoring in bunches, Richards is not the focal point of the offense. UK will try to post Washington on the block too, but it doesn’t seem like this accomplishes much, especially against quality opponents. I expect Calipari to show a more spread-out offense versus most SEC opponents. Of course you plan the Xs and Os according to your strengths, but this UK basketball team is much more geared towards perimeter scoring and attacking than posting up.
