Northwestern’s hard-hitting safety Godwin Igwebuike is 3rd on the team in tackles with 72. The senior leader of the secondary also picked off 2 passes this season. Igwebuike had the opportunity to go to the NFL after last season but decided to return to school for one more year. Igwebuike is projected by WalterFootball.com to be a Day 3 selection in the upcoming NFL Draft.
If the UK football team can establish Benny Snell early, the Wildcats may draw Igwebuike and Kyle Queiro into the box, allowing Stephen Johnson to connect with Blake Bone and Garrett Johnson.
