Mike Edwards has a similar decision to that Josh Allen. He is a junior and must decide if he’d rather return to UK or go to the NFL. Edwards sandwiched five poor performances around a phenomenal stretch during the middle of the season. From the Wildcats third game against South Carolina through their home loss against Ole Miss, Edwards had no less than seven total tackles.
Edwards has 89 total tackles and 4 interceptions on the season. According to the Courier Journal, Edwards is solely focused on the upcoming bowl game, but is entertaining going to the NFL. “Worried about the bowl game right now, but if that time comes and I’m lucky for me to go a high draft pick then that’s what I would do,” Edwards said.
