Kevin Knox had his worst performance by far last Saturday against Monmouth. In 31 minutes Knox was 1-of-9 from the field, including 1-of-5 from behind the arc. Knox finished with only 4 points.
Against a team like Monmouth, who only has 3 wins on the season, Knox can afford to have a game like he did in New York City. Knox must return to form against Virginia Tech.
The Kentucky freshman has been the most talented player on the Wildcats’ roster so far this year having scored in double figures in every game this season aside from the Citi Hoops Classic. The deck will be stacked against Kentucky if Knox struggles again on Saturday.
