Kentucky football is off to a hot start in 2017. With a big conference test coming up on Saturday, let’s look at the keys to victory vs the Florida Gators.

With a strong downhill running game and a powerful defense, this Kentucky football team has made a name for themselves in the SEC. Despite it being so early in the year, there is hope for Big Blue Nation in a sport not named basketball.

Although Kentucky struggled in their first two games this season, they looked great against South Carolina. The week 3 victory over the Gamecocks may have gained the Wildcats some credibility, but a win over Florida in week 4 would do so much more.

Florida is coming off a miraculous hail mary victory over Tennessee on Saturday. Despite winning the game, the Gators did not look good. Their offense was stagnant at best, and their defense showed plenty of flaws.

Kentucky must take advantage of the flaws in this Florida defense and put pressure on their offense to score points. That much is obvious, but let’s take a look at the specific keys to victory for Kentucky football over the Florida Gators.
