Kentucky Football Recruiting: Alex Reigelsperger might be the best player/recruiter there is
Kentucky Football fans know the significance of Alex Reigelsperger. The Ohio native is putting pressure on uncommitted Wildcat recruits.
Twitter is a beast of a format for communication among people all over the world. Fortunately for Kentucky Football fans, Alex Reigelsperger uses his Twitter account wisely. That is to help recruit the best players in the class of 2018 to commit to Kentucky.
Reigelsperger, a four star defensive end according to ESPN, was one of the first commitments of the 2018 Kentucky recruiting class. He may be the most important recruit of the bunch. In a class of great players and high ranking names, The Wayne High School standout is doing a ton of his own recruiting.
Most notably, one of the top names on the recruiting board for Kentucky is L’Christian “Blue” Smith, a high school teammate of Reigelsperger. Twitter has been his weapon of choice when it comes to trying to lure more top talent to Ohio.

Obviously, this kid has a strong following of Kentucky Football fans already. He’s basically a superstar in the making. Once he lands on campus for good, he may be a legend in the making.
Move over Vince Marrow
No, Alex is no Vince Marrow. But, he does have talents other than football. He spends his time trying to surround himself with great players. In the state of Ohio lie some of the nation’s best football talent. What better tool to have than an established commit who spends his free time recruiting. It’s a tool that I’m sure Mark Stoops and company love to have.

He stretched all the way back to 2014 and dug up this gem of a tweet for Blue Smith. Reigelsperger had a clever response to this tweet in particular.

Either way, Alex Reigelsperger is the real deal on the recruiting path. The defensive end recruit will be on campus this weekend for Kentucky Football’s last round of high school player camps. Top targets will be there. One thing is for certain, we will all have our phones handy and be sure to refresh those twitter photos Alex. Keep them tweets coming and turn up the heat. #GetBlueInBlue.

Kentucky currently has a top 15 recruiting class and is ranked 4th in the SEC. With some really big names still on the board, the Wildcats will look to guys like Reigelsperger to put a charge in some of them to help present Kentucky as an up and coming program with a lot to offer. There is no reason that with the classes that are being built here in Lexington, that Kentucky is too far from competing for an SEC East Title very soon.
