3. Kentucky will use a three-headed backfield

Every Kentucky Fan and opponent knows that the Wildcats will be feeding Benny Snell the football. The question is who would be the next guy in line? Well, according to the depth chart the second running back will be split between Siheim King and AJ Rose.

Kentucky Football fans knew going in that these two individuals would be in the mix. My guess is that Eddie Gran will use both backs much like Jojo Kemp was used last season. Kemp was intermittently inserted into the lineup and had some success.

In addition to Benny Snell, Rose and King will provide a punch to defenses. King is more of a shifty speed back who can really do some damage receiving the ball out of the backfield. Rose is built much like Snell in a sense that he his a between the tackles, downhill runner. That bodes well for the Wildcats. Having depth at the running back position is key in the run for another bowl birth and the SEC East Title.
