Johnny Cox hailed from deep in the hills of Eastern Kentucky. In the late 50s the 6-foot-4 forward was a scoring machine for Adolph Rupp’s Kentucky Wildcats. He is 19th all-tim on Kentucky’s career scoring list. Cox is also fourth all-time on Kentucky’s career rebounds list with 1,004 total boards. He scored a career high 38 points agains the Tennessee Volunteers on February, 28, 1959 during his Senior season.
