Patrick Patterson joined the Kentucky Basketball program in 2007. He was a McDonald’s All-American from the prestigious Huntington Prep in West Virginia. Patterson enter the free of the SEC and didn’t look back. He averaged 16.4 points in his first season. Added with his 7.7 rebounds per game, Patterson was awarded the SEC freshman of the year award.

Patterson as a sophomore didn’t let up. He averaged nearly a double-double with 17.9 points and 9.3 rebounds per game. As a Junior, John Calpari’s first season at Kentucky, Patrick Patterson averaged 14.3 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in that star studded recruiting class.

Although he is a recent player to make this list, Patterson was in fact a tremendous teammate and loved by every member of the BBN. He deserves to be on any list of Kentucky Basketball greats.
