Dan Issel is the undisputed king of Kentucky Basketball. He is the all time leader in career points and career rebounds. He is second all time in career free throws. Dan Issel was 6-foot-8 and an absolute stud. No one could hold a candle to him on the basketball court. He is a member of the Naisimith Basketball Hall of Fame. Issel was three time All-SEC performer. He also holds the single season point total with 948 points in the 1969-70 season. Issel holds two of the top five top scoring seasons of all time as well. He’s the top dog and there’s no debate.
