Kentucky Basketball: Ranking the top 25 Wildcats through 2010

Forest Sale is a true throwback player from the 30s. Having played for Adolph Rupp from 1930 to 1933, in his three seasons at Kentucky he lead his teams in scoring in both the 1932 and 1933 seasons. In 1930, Sale’s team finished fourth in the Southern Conference with an 8-2 record. After Rupp finished with an overall record of 15-2, with the team coming up shy in the Southern Conference championship in a 29-27 loss to Maryland.

His number 19 is retired by the University of Kentucky.

Sale gathered many awards and accolades in his three seasons at Kentucky.
