2004: A Tubby Smith Odyssey

This was a monstrous class on paper for Tubby and with the exception of Adam Williams turned out to be above-average in terms of production. Mixed with veteran players such as Chuck Hayes, Kelenna Azubuike and Patrick Sparks the class was able to aid the Regional Final run in 2005. Ultimately losing to Michigan State in overtime… I believe that Patrick Sparks three-ball is still sitting on a rim in Austin, and I still get sick thinking about how Kentucky couldn’t grab a rebound in that OT.

Overall, this class was a fun one to follow back in the day and contributed majorly to my Kentucky Basketball obsession.
