7. Joshua Paschal, Defensive End

  • Rated 4-stars by 247Sports.
  • Recieved offers from Alabama, Michigan, Penn State, and others.

This 6′ 4″ 225 pound beast is the greatest defensive commitment in the 2017 class for Kentucky.

Joshua Paschal gets off the ball as quick as anybody I’ve seen coming out of high school in the past few years. His speed is way above average for a defensive end, and his strength and size make him look like a well established SEC player.

The true freshman will be an impact player for Kentucky in his first season, no doubt. He’s the type of guy you just can’t redshirt.

I don’t see him being a starter right out of the gate. But I see Paschal finding himself and what his strengths are throughout the season. He will be a huge part of the defensive contribution at Kentucky for years to come.
