Kentucky Football: 10 players poised for prominent production
By Brandon Rue
1. Benny Snell Jr., Running Back
- Football Writers Association of America freshman All-American.
- True freshman All-American by ESPN and 247Sports.
- Voted All-SEC freshman by league coaches.
- Second-team All-SEC by Pro Football Focus.
- Leading freshman scorer in the SEC with 78 points.
- Set 6 Kentucky frosh records.
Benny Snell Jr is one of the SEC’s most valuable running backs. The freshman phenom had a record setting year in 2016. 2017 will be an even bigger year for the Kentucky running back.
Snell runs the wildcat formation better than anybody I’ve seen at Kentucky since the great Randall Cobb.
2017 will be a year where the Kentucky faithful see a running back rush for over 1,500 yards. Yes, seriously, Benny Snell will leave Kentucky as the best running back in program history.
