2. Jordan Jones, Linebacker

  • Named second-team All-SEC by the AP and league coaches.
  • 3rd in the SEC in tackles per game (8.4).
  • Lead the SEC and was 16th nationally in solo tackles per game (5.7).
  • Lead the team and was ranked 6th in the SEC in tackles for loss (15.5).
  • Had 10 or more tackles versus 5 opponents in 2016.

Jordan Jones is undoubtedly one of the best linebackers in the country. Going into his junior season, the Kentucky star will look to add to his long list of achievements.

Jones is your prototypical SEC linebacker. He has proved to be a tackling machine, raking up 109 total tackles in his sophomore season.

Look for Jones to be the captain of the Kentucy defense in 2017 and improve his game more-so.
