Kentucky Basketball is reloading once again. This time, it feels as though the Wildcats are loaded with nothing but raw young talent.

Kentucky Basketball is known for young talented superstars. What many don’t see is the work that they put in throughout the season. These young men haven’t even donned the Kentucky Basketball uniform yet and the excitement is almost trembling. The social media world got a small glimpse of the new team this week. Strength coach Rob Harris put the new Wildcats through a series of workouts in the Nutter Field House. Take a look at the new squad going to work.

Rob Harris

Kentucky named Rob Harris the Strength and Conditioning coach for the basketball team last season. Harris operates the daily fitness of the athletes on the team. According to the UKAthletics website, Harris has worked with programs like Ohio State football and The Cincinnati Bengals. He is a graduate of Kentucky State University in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Harris has made his name known as an intricate piece of the Kentucky Basketball puzzle. Without a significant strength and conditioning program, the athletes will not have the ability to showcase their full skill set. They’re not able to fully give their best effort without the aid of great fitness levels. As anyone can see, Harris is doing good work with this team. It looks as though Sacha Killeya-Jone among others are ready to put in work.
