1. SEC Regular Season Title

It’s no secret that the SEC has beefed up its efforts in the area of basketball. The top recruit in the country, Michael Porter Jr., chose to commit to Missouri. Meanwhile, Collin Sexton, the Nations top rated point guard according to 247Sports is headed to Alabama. The SEC has three teams in the top 10 for recruiting classes for the 2018 cycle. An no, we’re not talking about football recruiting classes. The coaching is at an all time high and the excitement surrounding next season will make for great matchups.

With that being said, the talent that Kentucky will be working with next season should warrant an SEC regular season title. The top teams in the conference could give the Wildcats some fits. It’s not out of the question to say that John Calipari won’t have the best record in the conference when all is said and done.

When the recruiting cycle comes to an end, it seems as though the consensus is that Kentucky may not even be done yet. Calipari could even add one to two more prospects to the fold to aid in the effort. Mohamed Bamba and Cameron Johnson have still yet to decide where they will take their basketball talents next season. If it’s Kentucky, write it down for this expectation. Put it in stone, the Cats will rule the conference regular season once again.
