Laying the final brick in the wall

The uncertainty of Bamba’s destination will certainly bring joy to whoever lands him. The talented big man will be the best asset to any team. As for Kentucky, Bamba can make them a title contender despite the youth on the roster.

John Calipari definitely needs added depth in the front court. The possibility of having Bamba start alongside Nick Richards, PJ Washington, Jarred Banderbilt and Quade Green makes for intriguing media storylines. At the moment, Kentucky is hard at work trying to lure in more pieces to the puzzle. Although some believe that Texas has the next best shot at landing the big man, it doesn’t make much sense in the grand scheme of things.

Whatever happens, Coach Calipari will still have his work cut out for him. Bringing together so much youth with little to no experience from the bench could be cause for concern. But, if anyone can pull it off, it’s John Calipari.
