2. A five month NBA Tryout

A Kentucky basketball season consists of a strenuous non-conference schedule along with the conference matchups. Apart from just the games, Kentucky players are competing with future NBA players every single day at practice. NBA players come from all over the college hoops world, but at Kentucky there’s a pretty positive track record of producing top notch NBA Talent.

For example, Anthony Davis, Karl Anthony-Towns, Demarcus Cousins and John Wall are staples on their respective teams teams. All were lottery picks in the NBA Draft. The facts are simple, Mohamed Bamba is an NBA talent no matter where he plays in college. But, if he want some the NBA experience and the NBA preparation, Kentucky will be his choice.

Just think, Kentucky players in the NBA currently are racking in big money. An NBA team is more likely to take the chance on a proven NBA level star than not. For a team to shell out millions of dollars to individuals who haven’t done the most to prove themselves in he heat of the best competition among other professional players would be a risk. And at Kentucky, Bamba will be NBA ready when he leaves.
