4. Archie Miller (Indiana)

One of the hottest names in the college basketball coaching world this past season was Archie Miller. Indiana took the leap and hired Miller to replace Tom Crean as the Hoosier Head Man. Miller led the Dayton Flyers to four NCAA Tournaments in six seasons at the Head Coach. Most notably, Miller and the Dayton Flyers had an epic run making it to the Elite Eight in the 2014 NCAA Tournament.

Archie Miller will get his chance at “big time basketball” at Indiana. As the head coach of the Hoosiers, a historic premier program, the world will get to see what he is truly made of. It is clear that the man can coach as he led a mid-major team to four consecutive Tournament bids.

Whether or not he can succeed at Kentucky will rely on his ability to recruit the best players. He will have a chance to do so at Indiana. Hopefully, John Calipari will stay put for quite some time. The extra time would leave room for Miller to grow as a coach, and recruiter of a premier basketball program.
