5. Mark Few (Gonzaga)

The truth of the matter is that Mark Few is a highly respected name in the coaching ranks. Few has been around the Gonzaga program since 1989. He has worked as a graduate assistant, assistant coach and became the head coach of the Bulldogs in 1990. With a career head coaching record of 503-113, Mark Few obviously relies on his in-game coaching experience to win games. Alan Cutler and Mary Jo Perino mentioned Mark Few in their lists of possibilities.

Few led the 2017 Gonzaga Bulldogs to an incredible run that ended in the National Title game. The Bulldogs were ranked at the top of the polls for many weeks in the 2016-17 season and are regulars in the NCAA Tournament. There is something about Mark Few that leads me to believe that he would be able to take a Kentucky team deep in the tournament each season.

Although it is highly unlikely that Few would want to leave his corner of the world and into the giant spotlight of coaching at Kentucky, he should get a call whenever Calipari decides to hang it up.
